My first experience in the industry kicked of yesterday and phew,,Corporate sucks(the blood outta u)!!!Leave aside the posh infrastructure and the free coffee inside..the work is really back breaking..And whom do we work for??Some xyz who pays us for our services. One realization some how hit me this afternoon while i was staring blank at the computer screen..Yesterday evening there was a birthday party at the cafeteria and employees were ragging a fresher asking questions. The guy had worked in a consumer electronics company before he had joined here it seems. He has been working on burglar alarms. But he does not have a burglar alarm at home as it is too costly for him to afford.
The key point that i want to make here is Mr.X has designed a burglar alarm with his hard work.I agree that Mr.X has a good pay.But Mr.Y who employs him sells the product to Mr.Z atleast 20 times salary of Mr.X.Mr.Z sells it(1000+)customers at 3 times salary of X .Mr.Z doesnot work. But he enjoys the benefit of the work of Mr.X.
From my knowledge it is the developing countries who work their arse off to sell of services and products to the developed world. But the question is why sell ur services to them (Mr.Z) and buy from them at higher cost.Mr.Z simply provides specifications.Mr.Y provides infrastructure. But when Mr.X is able to work y cant he work out the specs from common man's need, beg borrow steal and set infrastructure that Mr.Y provides enjoy the benefits of one's own work? Am not a communist. But should not the one who works who should have the maximum benefit? If Mr.X does not learn to be Mr.Z all his hard work is not going to pay his real worth and developing countries will still remain developing till the world ends.
