Tomorrow the CM of Tamil nadu goes to thirumangalam as a part of the election rally followed his son Alagiri(Terror of madurai!!!).. Am not interested in politics a wee bit...Never given a thought to it until today...
I missed my bus back home narrowly today..So wat 2 do??Take the out bus..It was abt six fifteen when we reached the outers of thirumangalam..And wat a sight it was..For abt 3 to 4 kms tube lights supported on bamboo poles have been erected every half metre..Wat a waste of electricity!!Yeah there will be total power outage a week after election for days..All this for a weeks extravaganza at ppls cost!!Scores of ppl sardine packed in lorries shoutin slogan blocked the entire route...It was police police everywhere!!!For a few minutes i chided myself for carelessly missing the bus..Fortunately our driver took a diversion through kappaloor.Even then there were police stationed all along the route every hundred metre. At the maeladai junction again there was a jam as the CM s car was passing tat way.. When i reached home it was seven twenty..I was twenty mins late..But missin the bus was worth the experience...This makes me wonder if this is democracy or anarchy..Keep thinking..
As far as your "madurai managaram" is concerned ,i've heard its Alagiri government , not the PPl's democracy !!
